Dog Park Policies

The following policies are applicable to the Dog Park:

  • All dogs must have a day pass to enter.
  • All humans must be 18 or older to enter the dog park.
  • Each dog owner is responsible for reading the rules upon entering.
  • Puppies must be at least 4 months of age to enter the dog park.
  • All dogs over 1 year old must be spayed or neutered.
  • All dogs must be to up to date on vaccinations, including Parvo, Bordetella, and Rabies.
  • Blue Ridge Adventure Dog is not responsible for any injury, illness, or damage caused on our premise. Each dog owner is responsible for their dog(s) behavior.
  • Please pick up after your pup! There are several waste stations available on site.
  • Dogs must be on the leash while anywhere on premise except for the designated dog park area.
  • Aggressive behavior (by canines or humans) is not allowed. If you or your dog are displaying aggressive or disruptive behavior, The Blue Ridge Adventure Dog staff reserves the right to ask you to leave.
  • Do not leave your dog unattended. Your dog should be within sight. It is best to sit with your dog within the dog park while your dog is there.
  • Close all entry gates behind you to prevent any dogs from leaving the dog park.
  • No outside dog toys, rawhides, and/or treats are allowed in the dog park area.
  • Maximum of two dogs per handler.
  • No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted.
  • No smoking.
  • Pinch collars must be removed prior to entering the dog park area.
