Blue Ridge, Georgia is a magnificent area for outdoor adventure, with dozens of hiking and biking trails and some of the best trout streams in the country. Since late 2010, owner Cesar Martinez and his staff have run outdoor apparel store Blue Ridge Adventure Wear to help those who want to enjoy the outdoors with indoor style. But over the years it became apparent that those coming to Blue Ridge looking to enjoy the outdoors sought more than a rain jacket and a rugged pair of boots: They needed a place to enjoy the outdoors with their furry companions.

So in 2023, Cesar, his son David Martinez, and manager Ariana Dominguez created a new park and bar in Downtown Blue Ridge focused on dogs and their people. They built Blue Ridge Adventure Dog to be a casual, no-fuss, family-friendly place where pups can go for a run or a dip in the dog park while their people (or any dog fans, really) sit back, grab a drink and a snack, and have some fun. It’s a place to treat yourself and your dogs to a little adventure between adventures.
